The annual report on production planning and control (PPC) offers comprehensive insights into the perspectives of manufacturing companies and thus into current developments in PPC.

This year’s focus includes the future-oriented topics of sustainability, data and information utilization in production and ramp-up processes as well as the design of resilience in manufacturing.
The study is conducted annually by the IFA – Institute of Production Systems and Logistics at Leibniz Universität Hannover, the IPMT – Institute of Production Management and Technology at Hamburg University of Technology, the Werkzeugmaschinenlabor, WZL der RWTH Aachen at RWTH Aachen University and the Fraunhofer-Institut für Gießerei-, Composite- und Verarbeitungstechnik (Fraunhofer IGCV) as part of long-standing research collaboration. This year’s PPS-Report deals with hashtagsustainability, hashtagdigitalization, and hashtagresilience.
