First Community Meeting of Production Analytics Community (PAC)

🚀 Our first community meeting held on May 14-15, 2024, brought together the Production Analytics Community (PAC) at Phoenix Contact in Bad Pyrmont. Many thanks to Phoenix Contact for the excellent hosting of the event.

📝 We are excited to share the following key learnings according to the focus of the meeting „Shaping digitalization – key elements and success factors of a digitalization strategy“:

▶️ In the PLCnext Factory Tour, Stefan Schnake from Phoenix Contact demonstrated the benefit of consistently using defined APIs to reach data points
▶️ Top challenges of digitalization are the determination of business cases of specific applications, the development of a holistic infrastructure and holistic data connectivity as well as the development of the necessary internal know-how
▶️ Impressive key note by Dr. Till Potente from Phoenix Contact on the consistent use of micro services as guiding principle for digitalization
▶️ Interesting insights on the use of data-driven optimization at Miele by Dr. Jonas Osterloff
▶️ Four-stage process for rolling out digital solutions at Voith Paper presented by Roberto Viola
