Over the last two days, we met with our member companies for the Global Production Management Center I GPMC I RWTH Aachen Campus‚ 2024 Annual Meeting in Ratingen. The meeting served as a platform for cross-community exchange, exciting impulses on the most relevant future topics and insights into the companies‘ practices.
The highlights at a glance:
🏭 Exciting factory tour at ABB in Ratingen, the largest production site for medium-voltage technology. Special thanks to Thorsten Fugel and his team for personally guiding us through this factory of the year.
🚀Keynote: Cybersecurity for manufacturing companies – current security threats and concepts. Many thanks to Prof. Thomas R. Koehler to be our guest as expert and author in this important field.
📡Guest lecture: Dynamic networking on the shop floor. A big thank you to both Alexander Bendler and Julian Sander from Wireless.Consulting GmbH for these interesting insights.
