Third Expert Forum “Global Production” – Master The Transformation of Global Production
The third edition of our Expert Forum “Global Production” on September 28th, 2020 deals with the question of how production networks have to be changed in order to meet future requirements: Resilience, digital transformation and new forms of cooperation are examined from the perspective of research and industry.
In addition to experts from industry leaders, Prof. Gisela Lanza from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Prof. Thomas Friedli from the University of St. Gallen and Prof. Günther Schuh from the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering (WZL) at RWTH Aachen University will lead the forum.
In various keynote speeches and discussions, high-ranking industry representatives enable an efficient and realistic exchange of knowledge. Through an inherent focus on best practice examples and relevant methods, complex topics of production management are made tangible. In addition, the expert forum promotes the exchange of participants and specialists by providing space for topic-specific networking opportunities.
Interested parties are cordially invited to use the expert forum to exchange experiences and knowledge as well as to critically examine their own production network, identify underutilized potential and find out about current trends in the global production environment. The event will take place in the Hotel Steigenberger Graf Zeppelin in Stuttgart in compliance with a security concept. There is also the option of taking part in the event virtually at a reduced price.
