GPMC Web-Seminar: Application of Blockchain in Production
📆 We are looking forward to our next web seminar on the 25th of August with Prof. Wolfgang Prinz from Fraunhofer FIT who will be presenting “Application of Blockchain in Production” to our GPMC community members.
Blockchain technology is usually associated with applications from the field of cryptocurrency. However, there are numerous possible applications in production, ranging from the audit-proof storage of audit logs to the mapping of digital twins and the trading of CO2 certificates as tokens.
In the upcoming web seminar, the essential characteristics of the technology will be briefly explained and, based on this, various applications from production will be presented and their benefits for a company or entire value chains will be highlighted.
