First Production Systems Community Meeting
In the newly founded “Production Systems Community” (PSC), companies come together in a trustful and non-competitive setting to exchange information and insights on the design and implementation of production systems in the context of Industry 4.0. At the first virtual meeting, our members Miele, Hilti, Henkel and e.GO shared exciting insights into their production systems. Together with our community members and the WZL, we identified many interesting and challenging topics that we will address in the next meeting. Beyond that, the PSC codex was established – acting as a safeguard for an open culture of exchange. The next community meeting will take place in October 2020.

The Production Systems Community (PSC)

The visits and discussions are organized and moderated by employees of the PSC member companies. Participants also have an opportunity to get to know each other at evening events, which helps develop strong ties built on trust. This format has proved effective since the founding of the PSC and specifically in a year-long industrial joint project, the consortial benchmarking “Production Systems 4.0”.
